In this song, the singers tell us the importance of speaking our languages. They're from Martinique so more precisely they speak about Kréyòl and tell how important it is to speak this language which, they say, was created by our ancestors and helped them fight against oppressive powers during slavery days. They thus claim that people should definitely not be ashamed of speaking this language and that it should be used every day, in all places, it should be taught at school, used in working places, etc.
