I will include a few basic tips here. If you need extra help post in this blog. I will review and help you with your issues. If you only need help with background image to your entire page or changing the color. You can scroll to the last post on this page. I deals with those issues.

These are basic site functions.

1. If your page is full and you would like to limit the activities which show up on you page, click the box titled (Latest Activities) Click the little pen symbol and you can change the number of recent post which are displayed on your page. The stardard setting is 4 this will limit clutter on your page.

1. To change your photo click on your profile image, you will see the option to change your photo.

2. To chat with other members or to see who's online scroll to the bottom bar. You will see The Conscious African Mind Chat. It will show you the number of People onlie. When you click this bar you will the chat box open.

3. To view additional post in the tabs at the top of the site click the drop down menue and select which page you would like to view.

4. If you would like to silence the main music player on the front page scroll down and select the stop button. You can also stop the music player from playing each time you log on by selecting the edit button. Uncheck autoplay. If you want the songs to play in random order select that choice.

This section will show you how to add codes to your page. Click the second choice after profile information. The second edit button with the pen symbol. The box will open and this is where you will add the codes. View the next example below.

Adding codes to your page images, files, etc. When the box opens make sure you select the HTML Editor button. This is the button which will allow you to add codes to your page. You can also view the codes you added before you save. This is in the next example below.

Select Visual mode. This will allow you to view your design before you approve. Make sure to switch back to the HTML Editor if you wish to add more codes. The next example will show you how to add images to your page.

While in the HTML Editir mode select the light blue box which is located after the link button. When you select this you will see another box open. Select browse and find your image in your folder on your computer. Allow it time to upload. When the spinning circle stops your photo is ready. You can also adjust the size if you wish by entering the size in the width box. The next example will show you how to add a sound file.

You will see a symbol which looks like a paperclip. It is located next to the synbot( T) When you select this you will see the browse box. Find the file on your computer. When it has completed uploading you can also add a name for the file in the title box.

On the left hand side under your profil pic you will see customize. Click this button. This type of desiging is a little more complicated and requires a little Knowledge in HTML. You will see another page open. In the general section you can add a new page background. Click the camera symbol and upload your own image. The best page background is a image size of 500 or more. You can always see your changes as you go along before your change is finale. Some of the other buttons such as navigation and links will change profile color of text and other items. When you have completed your change, select the publish button. Peace
